Eunise Birthday and Prelim-Science

Hi!!! Today topics is about a birthday girl...
I don`t think most of you knows today is her birthday.... Well, i almost foget too!!! I did not gave her anything nor sang her songs... I`m sure, she will be very upset. I have to prepare for my up coming test and exams, the worst of all-PSLE. I had dropped most of my subjects, I know I have to do something, and it was important. You know my Science, one of my subjects, from `A` dropped to `D`!!! Isn`t this a disaster!!! Even Mrs Ratna is pushing me up, i know for sure, and i know i had disappoint her... Mrs Ratna, in Mock Science, i have no enough time to do.. Do you know how many questions i did not do??? 19 Questions!!! Another Disasters!!! If not unlucky, i would not failed my Science and others subjects... I promise you , Mrs Ratna, I will do well in my subjects with flying colors. And for my Science, I will win Boon Chong again and be the first in class again!!! And not only `A` this time, but `A*`... The same word `Strive For Exellence`.
Where am I??? Oh, ya. Eunise, really sorry for not saying anything and wish you are not angry nor sad.
Mrs Ratna, let me tell you one thing..... Maybe i will stay back everyday in school whenever i`m free.... Well, wish i will never let you disappoint again....

Racial Harmony Day

Hi,I`m here again!!! Let me begin with my speech...
Racial Harmony Day is celebrated annually on 21 July in Singapore.
What is Racial Harmony Day???Racial harmony is harmony between the races to maintain a good relationship between racial groups. This is very important for a multi-racial country like Singapore to ensure peaceful living here. If the different racial groups were to fight among themselves, a small country like Singapore will fall. Racial Harmony Day is also important because when we have racial harmony day , we are actually mantaining peace and harmony between the different religions. without racial harmony day, we might have war every single day.
Once the social fabric is torn, it cannot easily be sewn together again. Racial harmony has been the distinguishing trait of Singaporean society since Independence. This is not because our social fabric is inherently stronger than other multi-racial societies, or that we are immune to such problems. It is because a great deal of hard work and care has gone into tending and strengthening it. It should not be taken for granted.
Everyone should respect other religions beliefs and not laugh at them.If people laugh at your religion belief , you could also laugh at his as they are not scientific .

Racial Harmony Day in school

Hi everyone, today I am going to tell you about Racial Harmony Day which had happened in my school yesterday.
Lets starts from the beginning... On that day, i almost forgot that, it was a special day, Racial Harmony Day. When our relieve teacher, Miss Tan comes in, I first thought : What was today homework... But, to my surprised, she showed us a very funny video which I had learnt alot from it.
In this video, I saw teachers who were marrying each other!!! There were a total of 4 different races, Chinese, Indian, Malay and finally the Christian. The most funniest race was the Christian`s. When Miss Lim, who was marrying another teacher, who I can`t really see very clearly his face, going to kiss each other!!! This is the part which was the funniest ... What I had learnt??? I had learnt how different races married and what was the difference between their races.

The other video was about the arts of Henna. I had found it interesting and creative when they showed us different designs.
We also had activities of Henna, we first splits into groups of 5 or more. Each group have a cone-like thing. We had a little difficulty in pressing the cone as the cone was hard. Thanks for Eunise to found a way to squeeze it out.

What about recess time??? During recess, the canteen was like a party , there were different kinds of foods which i can choose from. In there , my favourite food was `curry puffs`!!! I bought atleast three `curry puffs` on that day as it was very delicious.

Yi Qian`s , Valorie`s and Amy`s birthdays

Thank you for coming to my blog!!!

Please forgive me Yi Qian and Valorie...... Are you still thinking of `Why` i say that..... That was because i did not brought any presents or sang songs for them but Amy was different. Why??? It was not because Amy was clever or pretty but was because her birthday date was different!!! Let me tell you why, : Yi Qian`s birthday date was on 14Th of May, Valorie`s birthday date was on 16Th of May but Amy`s birthday date is on 30Th of May!!! Did it makes a differents!!! That`s why i said Amy was different!!! As Amy`s birthday was not over i will buy her a present but not songs this time because songs now is already ` old fashion ` .

SA1

Hi again!!!

Well, i`m sure you all know SA1 had over.... And i`m sure you all had learnt some of our school values, SPICES. For me, i had learnt most of the school values. For examples : self discipline, courage , passion for learning and excellent.

Self Discipline

Self discipline is the same meaning as self control so it can also be called self control. There are lots of examples around the world but today i want to tell you is about test time. Before the test, lots of pupils were preparing for their test as the test ,SA1, was round the corner. This can shows that andersonians understand our school value, Self discipline.

Courage

What about courage??? Well, courage can be consider as we say `courage to learn`. I actually do not know this words but is because i had heard before this words when i was in the hall. I am not so sure is it Mrs Num or Mr Martin Tan, our school principal said it but i think it was Mr Tan as he most of the time talking about the school values.

Passion For Learning

Passion is a desire in us that make us strive for excellence and when people have a passion for something, they do it out of their own interest. As for students have passion for learning, they will be able to take in the knowledge. True passions come from the heart, without passion, nothing can be achieved.

Excellent

Talking about excellent, something came out of my mind. I still remember when i was in P4. In SA1 i scored badly and had scolding by my mum. In a flash of time, SA2 was round the corner, i was so afraid of failing so i did not gave up and continued to work harder. When i received my papers back, i realised i did not waste any of my effort, i was delighted. And i get best in progress in the end of that year..... Kindness

Kindness is the act or the state of being kind and marked by charitable behaviour, marked by mild disposition, pleasantness, tenderness and concern for others. Kindness is considered to be one of the Knightly Virtues, and is a make you feel better about yourself. It may result in a small reward: a smile or a wave or grate recognized value in many cultures and religions.Kindness is free to give, it costs you nothing.

Is it important??? Yes, of course it is important. Why??? As i said before kindness is free to give, it costs you nothing and it also might change the world!!! People can show their kindness by helping others. Example: elderly. And we can also give up our sits to the elderly, pregnant lady and in a primary age child or kindergarten child. I had gave up sits in the MRT train and bus before. As i gave up my sits to the elderly, i already felt very happy just by giving up my sits to them. I wish i can donate money to the elderly but the problem is i do not have enough money, the most i can give is $50 - $68. To my friends??? I can helped them if they have problems. isn`t what friends for???

Earth Day

Hi!!!

What is Earth Day??? Earth Day is an annual environmental event during which people celebrate the Earth's natural environment and promote environmentally healthy practices; to make people aware of the importance of keeping our planet healthy and clean. On that day,people made promises to help the environment and make positive changes in their community.
Earth day is very important to me as it help us to improve the globe warming. I can say the phrase " save the Earth " means to save the Mother Earth.Save the Earth. This tag line has undoubtedly been used countless of times. But, as time progressed, the earth’s need to be saved worsens. Environmentalists conceived almost every creative idea to gather the support of the majority since the earth’s disease gradually becomes systemic and irreversible.
Last March 28, 2009 from 8:30 to 9:30 in the evening, some ten million Filipinos decided to switch off their lights and unnecessary appliances for an hour to show their support for the earth. They joined other countries for Earth Hour. They opted to save the earth, even for just an hour. I hope soon, it may evolve into more than just an annual event. I hope it may evolve into a habit, a daily routine. If we could spend the 23 hours with ease, an hour without television or air-conditioners.
It is important to recycle, reuse and reduce is because to save the Earth; Mother Earth. On Earth day, i and my family will switch off all the lights to save electricity and also to save the Earth .

School

Hi again!!!

Asking of aspect of the school??? Well, i like my classroom of couse because it was my classroom or i can say it was my second house, so i will always make it clean.... But i can say sometimes it was not very clean after my chinese lesson, only got one reason for this, that was not their classroom!!! If got chance i will tell their chinese teacher about this. What i do not like??? I do not like the canteen as it is often not clean ; dirty. But don`t worry, i will definitely help those cleaners to pick up litters on the floor if i see one. I think the basketball court should be improved, because it was too small for some basketball players to play . How i can help the school??? As i aready said before we help to pick up litters in the school including the toilets....

Healthy eating

Hi all!!!

Well sorry that last week i did not post anything as my computer is a bit problem.... Ok , today i am going to tell you about healthy eating.....

In order to be healthy, we have to eat vegetables, meat, fruits and egg, and don`t forget about rice. The unhealthy food that we and the adults likes to eat is likely fried food. But for some adults they like to drink, alcoholism, this diseases are all side affects of too much alcohol consumption.

Why do we need to eat healthily??? We eat healthily is because it helps us to prevent diseases to get into our body easily. The diseases are gum diseases, heart disease, muscle deterioration, vision loss. Fruits and vegetables are good for us is because they contains vitamins. I like to eat both fruits and vegetables but i prefer vegetables to fruits. Why??? As i say before they contains vitamins and that is good for our health. I am very encourage pupils to eat more fruits and vegetables because fruits and vegetables are good for our health. We can do some projects about healthy eating, and as they do the research about healthy eating, they will slowly realise the good of healthy food. For example: vegetables and fruits. So they will slowly eat vegetables and fruits!!!

So remember to eat more healthy food to get healthy!!!

Earth Hour

Earth Hour is an international lights out event that is happening on Saturday, March 28 at 8:30 p.m. The goal is to get as many individuals and businesses as possible to turn off their lights for one hour at 8:30 p.m. to raise awareness about climate change and demonstrate that people are ready to take personal action and want more action from government.
They are organising this event is to let everyone from different countries,background,families to have a opportunity to vote and also to let us know how much electricity had we wast;attention to the issue of wasted electricity.
Here are 9 different ways to spend Earth Hour and reduce your carbon footprint:
1. Attend a local Earth Hour event or organise your own by throwing an Earth Hour street party with your neighbours
2. Gather family & friends for a night picnic in your local park and look at the stars
3. Enjoy a family dinner by candlelight
4. Organise a treasure hunt in the dark
5. Take the dog for a night walk
6. Have a candle-lit bath
7. Sit in the dark and share stories
8. Organise a family night playing board games
9. Share a romantic night in with your loved one
The Earth is facing some problems e.g globle warming , pollution,.......The way to solve the excess CO2 portion of the global warming problem is to restore CO2 to safe levels with wide spread hemp growth, internationally, to remove the excess from the atmosphere.But as for pollution........

Sports Day

Sport Day!!!

I always went to school,except i was sick.As Sport Day is a school day...................

It was on 6Th March 2009, as usual at 7.25.When it reached the end of the day, i had find out that it was actually a challenging day as there was lots of challenging activities.... I think the most exciting part is when the ball is passing among our houses,Ruby.I choose this activities is because it can let us know more about the cooperation with each other. As for me, there is no uninteresting activities.There is no reason why there is no uninteresting activities because i think all is interesting but the most interesting activities is the passing ball game that i had mentioned it before.What about others???The school can improve their activities by having more activities. But i can`t give you a clue now as i can`t even think of one.I think engaging the sports day is useful as it can help us to relax.Sports help us to built up a healthy body.Such as exercise.If i were the principal of the school, i would tell the pupils how good sport is and tell them to participate in sport...........

Fire safety

Talking about "Fire Safety"??? Everyone should know the entire wet market and food centre at Block 628A, Ang Mo Kio Street 61,was destroyed in a fire was destroyed in a fire on 16 October 2007.For more information,the fire break out affected stallholders are being asked to pay an estimated $8,000 to $10,000 to build a temporary market.Because the fire spreads so quikly, the flames devoured the 232 stalls at Ang Mo Kio market and food centre in Block 628A, leaving only charred remnants by the time the fire was put under control about two hours later.I can`t really remember what has happened, but i think it was because of the gas explosion at the back of the market caused the fire to happened.
Having a smoke alarm in the house cuts your risk of dying in a fire in half. Almost 60% of all fatal residential fires occur in homes that don't have smoke alarms, so this may be the single most important thing you can do to keep your family safe from fires.
If your home doesn't have smoke alarms, now is the time to install them on every level of your home and in each bedroom.
And don`t forget to prepared for any accidents by having fire extinguishers strategically placed around your house — at least one on each floor and in the kitchen (this one should be an all-purpose extinguisher, meaning it can be used on grease and electrical fires), the basement, the garage, or workshop area and don`t forget to plan an escape routes.
I don`t know if other pupils are conscious of fire safety as i do not know how much they about fire safety.....

Activities(outside)

Hi everyone, I have been talking since the first month and i still feel like talking.....
I have many activities this year!!! I have tuition on Monday, Tuesday,Thursday and Sunday. Well on Saturday I have Art lessons and swimming lessons. Now you know why my my skin colour had became darker than before, I have finished my sliver and going to gold.....What was on Wednesday??? On Wednesday.... I have Nothing!!! Well in Wednesday is my time to revise. If i have finish my homework, my mum will surely ask me" Have you done all your homework including tuition homework? Let me check before you go and play, now you are free from my hands but don`t be so happy, go and revise for your coming test.... It is important!!!" See how tiring... This is all because for my PSLE. PSLE is a very important exam for all primary schools` students. It will tell you which school you will go from the result you got in your PSLE,.... I wish I will go to a good school just like my sis. I usually spend 3-6 hours and 5 days in a week to do this activities. This activities help me with my studies and PSLE too. I`m involve in tuition because it let me learn more about the subject. Well study does affect my studies a little as it is a little stress for me. Why is this so stressed for me??? This is stress is not because of studying but is because of tiring and because of the time we have. For example : Sometimes you have lots of homework to do and you it was just the time to go for your tuition, you will feel at least a little stress isn`t it. I think all students should involve at least one activities as it will cool down your stress except tuition. You could try basketball, volley ball and others kind of ball that you like to play. But for me, i`m still trying.....

A big mistaken

Are you thinking what mistaken thing am i thinking all about??? I was talking about looking at the dictionary in the internet at sch.... Now are you thinking what wrong looking at the dictionary in the internet, am i right. Maybe Mrs Ratna had mistaken me by using the internet to look through dictionary this morning in school. I`m sure you don`t bring a heavy and big book; dictionary to the computer lab right!!! That`s why i didn`t. I go to the dictionary`s internet is to find more information about something else....
While talking about dictionary, lets talk more!!! The use of the dictionary is to check words that you don`t understand or don`t know what those words means, is it English or Chinese. If you still don understand, you can always ask Mrs Ratna. But i believe you all know as you are sitting for PSLE this year; Primary 6!!!

Passion for learning

What is Passion? Passion is a gift of the spirit combined with the totality of all the experiences we have lived through. It endows each of us with the power 2 live and communicate with unbridled enthusiasm. Passion is most evident when the mind, body and spirit work together 2 create, develop and articulate or make manifest our feelings, ideas and most sacred values.
Passion 4 learning means....... something u are willing 2 learn. People should have passion 4 learning so every 1 will improve on our subject + we wont have 2 give teacher so much stress 2 teach us. E.g of people who have passion 4 learning: u can say my oldest sister. Why i say her??? because she always study in sch and at home every times even though i didn`t seen her study at home. But i can looks through her subject, was pretty well done and got express 4 her PSLE!!! And sometimes(last year in Anderson Primary School) i walk passed her classroom, 6.9, she always doing her work or even arts work!!! Why is she doing arts work??? She do arts work because she is in arts class!!! In her i can say, she has passion 4 learning + passion 4 arts.....
I can say i have passion 4 learning as i am study quite often this days/weeks. More, this year i am going 2 take PSLE, Mid Year exam,.... Its so important that i don even believe that this year i am taking PSLE but don worry i will try 2 take the fate. I will try 2 read more fiction books but not some simple books and comics books. Because i had already grown up!!! Wait 4 my post!!!

Setting Targets

Work hard 4 PSLE!!!
Well, talking about Setting Targets is much easier than others posts. Firstly, i want 2 tell you what the purpose of Setting Targets. We set targets is 2 see whether you got improved yr test or not; 2 see how high or low yr marks is. I`m sure setting targets is very useful 2 all the pupils, because it help 2 improve our subjects; as we are striving 4 excellence. If you still don`t understand I am saying, you could go and see 1 of my post , Strive 4 Goals.
How will i set targets 4 myself??? As 4 me, I will look through my last year marks, and slowly improve myself. I will work hard, but 4 me work hard will not improve, 4 math, i must know the steps; how 2 do those difficult problem sums. 4 English, sometimes read more but sometimes i must learn the meaning. 4 Chinese,.......My parents last year had already plan 4 me, they had brought many books 4 me!!! I was so regret that i did not do my assessments when I have the time last year because now i don`t have time 2 do my assessments as i have lots of homework.
To motivate myself to achieve my goals, I always tell myself that if I don't get the goal I set, my
future will be gone. I think the sch had done enough good 2 us; pupils. They gave us remedial and others more....... If the sch still wanted 2 add more, it can add reading lessons 4 the poor in English; foundation pupils.
I will be waiting 4 more posts....

The concept of Total Defence (TD) was adapted from the experiences of countries like Switzerland and Sweden. As a young nation with a small population and a conscript armed forces, we needed to draw on the different strengths and abilities of our community to augment our defence capability. Conflicts between countries are no longer just military in nature. Potential aggressors and threats can appear in less obvious and non-conventional ways e.g., destroying social cohesion by exploiting differences in race, language, religion, culture, social or economic class; weakening national resilience by using psychological warfare to play on the people’s fears and apprehensions. Total Defence provides the framework for a comprehensive and integrated response to deal with all kinds of threats and challenges. Whether it is all Singaporeans in a coordinated effort to deal effectively with these threats and challenges. When Singaporeans take personal responsibility for and get involved in the defence of Singapore, they are playing their part to help keep Singapore safe and secure. Total Defence has five aspects - Military Defence, Civil Defence, Economic Defence, Social Defence and Psychological Defence. These five aspects represent the key sectors of society. They also help Singaporeans understand how they can be involved. When we take National Service seriously, volunteer in civil defence exercises, help build a strong economy, strengthen community ties with one another regardless of race and religion, and stay committed to defend the country, we are doing something in every sector of our society to strengthen Singapore's resilience as a nation.

Tinzar`s and Leonard's birthday

ow!! So fastW .... tomorrow is 1st of Feb and is Tinzar`s birthday!!! Well tomorrow is Sunday; weekend, i cannot sing a birthday song to Tinzar as it is Sunday. Lets cheer up!!! I still can sing it the day after; Monday, right!!!
I`m sure Leo is happy to as the day after is his birthday!!! But I`ll not sing a birthday song for him because he keeps bully people not only this, he still don`t want to starts a new life!!!

Celebrating Festivals

I celebrate Chinese New Year every year. As i am a Chinese, i celebrate Chinese New Year, to add more Chinese New Year is very important to all the Chinese!!! Usually my whole family gathers together for the reunion dinner. We eat foods that symbolise good wishes, happiness, prosperity and longevity. After dinner, we will sit down to chat, watch TV or play our favourite boardgames. Before my whole family get our reunion dinner; on the 1st day of Chinese New Year , we visit our relatives to strengthen the bonds of kinship. We also gets Hong Baos; red packets containing money that symbolise luck and wealth. We were also on our best behaviour as we believe that the way we behave on the 1st day will determine the rest of the year.
I know some others festivals e.g Hari Raya Puasa, Vesak Day and Deepavali. They were about the same as Chinese New Year, their religion will celebrate their festival, e.g Chinese celebrate Chinese New Year. How do they celebrate them??? It is the same.... Lets take Chinese, Chinese celebrate Chinese New Year because Chinese New Year was important to Chinese!!! Now you know.... every festival is almost the same!!! But maybe the food they eat, what they do in their festival is the NOT same as Chinese New Year!!! I think the celebration of the various festivals will help in strengthening racial harmony among the various race in Singapore. How??? When they will celebrating, they talk, they play and watch TV. When they do this they will surely strengthen the bonds.Well, I also do not know how to explain, I can only tell u this much.We can always strengthen our bonds by talking, playing and others. You can always pick me for an e.g!!! I always use talking to make friends!!! I can say one of them is Kai Wen.

Vision, Mission and Values

Hi, thanks for coming to my blog!!! Lets don`t waste time, lets get to the point, today i am going to talk about school`s Mission, Vision and Values. Mission, vision and values are very important, it all has an important part to do... Mission means delegation, Our school`s Mission is providing quality education to equip pupils with the values, knowledge and skills for the 21st century well, the school`s vision is to be a good citizen,its a school of distinction Nurturing Future-Ready Citizens of Character. And don`t forget the school`s value,

E represents Excellence
S represents Sincerity
I always believe in the school`s values as i said before it is very important to everyone, including me!!! Students do engaging in activities in school or outside, as we use it every time even now!!! example in studies, we will used passion for learning and strive for excellence. When we were being bully, we will used courage. We often used self-discipline in school......
Teachers can always organise a group work, we can use values for project. That`s all for today!!!

Strive 4 goals

Now is already p6, "not 5.3 anymore and is 6.3 now!!!" Can u understandwhat i mean from the line..... It mean that 5.3 suddenly become6.3 trees!!! Means we are growing taller, bigger and striving for the skies!!! This year is an important year because it is ox!!! U may think that it is ox year, it is our year we can do whatever you want but you are wrong!!! It is actually means one year had gone; we have to strive for excellence; we must win!!!!! You must learn what does passion means what is your dream that you want to fulfill. So we must have passion for learning to have a good remarks in PSLE. Ya, its PSLE this year , it is a very scary year which is very challenging because this score will tell u which sch u will go!!! Even i am scared that i will not score well to get into a good school that i wan but i will still remember our school rules : Courage. We must have courage to get our score well. Now is p6 and i must learn what is SPICES our school rules. So......
today you should know what is Passion, Excellence and Courage that said in the passage above. If don`t understand read it again maybe u will understand even more.

A tired day in Chinese New Year

I have a very late sleep and now I have to lttle black panda eyes!!! Do you know what time i sleep??? I slept at..... 12.31 a.m!!! Because,yesterday..... I woke up at 10a.m as I slept very late at that 9, I had forgotten that I have tuition at 11 a.m!!!! I quickly brush my teeths , eat my bread + milk and prepare what I had to bring for my tuition e.g books, pencil box. I have two hours tuition, 1 hour is for Maths and the other hour is for Sci. I had finally finish my tuition, when i reached home.... i had some hours to do my tuition homework as i don`t have any school homework. At 4 to 5 p.m I have to visit my relatives as many of us do....When we reached there it was aready 7 plus p.m. I and my sisters were playing computer games and others.... We played happily when someone spoilt our fun as I and my family have to go for a walk at Marina Bay at 8 plus p.m. Its a long way trip from my relatives home,when we reached Marina Bay it is aready 8.48 p.m, we walk, eat, drink and talk at the same time as we do not want to waste time because we are very sure that time flies very fast when we didn`t notic it . It is so... fast that it is aready 10.30p.m at 9. We decided to go home when we felt rain falling down from the sky... When we reached home it is aready very late , as it was 11.30p.m!!! We quickly on the tv as there was a very interesting show going on. I fell asleep when the show was going across my sleep....

Kai Wen`s birthday

Ya!!! I am going to sing a song of birthday song tomorrow again!!!Because tomorrow....is Kai Wen birthday!!!It is going to be like this....
