Abseiling
Hey guys! I suddenly remember about abseiling. Abseiling is what we sec 1 ODAC members did last week. 1st we need to wear helmets and hanners( not sure how to spell), nothing difficult. But after that is abseiling time. Thanks to the rain, we were doing indoors abseiling!!! Indoors abseiling is more difficult than outdoors one as outdoors, rock wall, is all occupied with walls, but for indoors, there will be holes in the middle. As I am a beginner and worst is I am afraid of height, it is harder for me to do that abseiling. Luckily, I am not the 1st one or else I will be wasting everybody’s time, while waiting, I keep on laughing and talking, it is common as this is what I will do when I am scared. Kay , it’s my turn, I climb over the railings which took me a lot of time as I don’t dare to climb over as it is far too high above the ground floor. Next, I am told to put my legs in a right angle position. This is the most difficult task actually. After this, I am going to abseil… but abseil is easier than doing the previous step as I just have to let go the rope bit by bit. In this abseiling part, the difficult thing is controlling the rope. The rope keep sliding down my hand, which is covered by gloves to prevent blister when sliding, I can’t stop it. So, I have to choice but to keep on walking down the wall. Very fast, I have reached the ground floor, phew! The 1st things I do are sitting on the ground then take off my helmets. Oh my gosh! My face is filled of sweat! And I am sure that my face is extreme red. Then take out the bike which is connected to my hanners, and hang it onto the rope which is connected to Mrs. Goh. Oh ya, talk about Mrs. Goh, luckily I go to Mrs. Goh side, or else I have to go to Mr. Singh side. There, I will end here… bye!
